DAWN STATE is back with a new release from legendary London based producer 100Hz.
100Hz (aka Lee Renacre) has been shifting self-released promos out of the boot of his car since ’89 and was a key figure in ?the first wave of Tech House coming out of London in the late 90’s. ?The groove and swing of a 100Hz production is unmistakable and his signature sound continues to push the boundaries of House and Techno.
A1 is Warp, a track originally released in ’96 (although it still sound like its from the future) on the legendary Pacific Records and now difficult to find in a good condition (or good price!). ?This 2019 reinterpretation draws out the groove while staying true to the energy of the original. ?This is pure, fast-paced, adrenaline-fuelled Techno made for giving your body and mind a hard reset.?
The B side takes things slower and deeper with two new productions; CaliVon overlays infectious swinging hats over a dark and tense atmosphere, creating a melancholic experience primed for losing yourself on the dancefloor. ?The sense of disassociation continues with Tundra, a brooding, circling masterpiece of disorienting deepness, spinning chaos and unity round your mind in perfect harmony. ?
