Sound Transmission present three Jamaican digital-era artists across 2x7inch records on a relick of the Jackmandora Riddim. Produced by Interrupt (Trojan, Reggae Roast and others) the riddim features Carl Meeks revisiting the title track on his first LP (Greensleeves Records) with an updated and contemporary anti-gun theme. Veteran Tippa Lee follows up with a tough DJ cut reenforcing the same sentiment. Derrick Parker unloads a soundclash focused tune; here the gun theme continues but keeping the ‘killing’ confined to the dancehall.
